QualificationsTakeCareGivers must be 21+, hold a High School Diploma or equivalent. TakeCareGivers are not required to hold certificates if they perform only non-medical Personal Care, Companionship, Housekeeping and Transportation services. TakeCareGivers providing medically-directed services must hold at least a current Certified Nursing Aide or Home Health Aid certificate.

Experience TakeCare requires two years of related work experience for non-medical Personal Care, Companionship, Housekeeping and Transportation duties and three years related work experience for medically-directed Home Health Aide & Personal Care service work.

Personality & Presentation

Our basic requirement is that you have a caring heart along with your caregiving hands. One of TakeCare's most important tasks is matching caregiver personalities to client personalities. Our TakeCareGivers need to fit in harmoniously with our clients and their families. TakeCareGivers appearance must always be neat, clean and presentable. Hair, clothing and accessories must be appropriate and professional.

Personal ReferencesTakeCare will contact many of your references before we will be able to hire you. We'd like to talk with your prior employers, your friends, family and church members to make sure that you have the aptitude to be a TakeCareGiver.

Work EthicTakeCareGivers must have a very strong and reliable work ethic. To become a TakeCareGiver you must be punctual, honest, organized, thoughtful, clean and always presentable in our clients' homes. We only hire TakeCareGivers that are deeply concerned for each client's personal welfare, physical condition, mental state and emotional well-being.

Screenable TakeCare will conduct thorough background checks on all potential TakeCareGivers.  We will look into your Bonding, Motor Vehicle record, Credit History, Criminal conviction history. You must have a clean background to become a TakeCareGiver.
